This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected on the International Retail Forum 2026 website (irf.az; the “Forum”). By using the site or submitting its forms, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

1. Who controls the data

The data controller is the organizer of the Forum. Contact: office@retailnetworks.az, +994 999 499 444.

2. What data we collect

Ticket order form: attendee name and surname, email address, phone number, company and position, where you heard about the Forum, and your note.
Sponsor application form: company name, contact person, position, email, phone, website, area of interest and your message.
Payment: card payment for tickets is handled by the Payriff payment system. Your card number and other card details are not passed to us and are not stored by us; we only receive the result of the payment (successful or not), the amount and the order number.
Technical data: the IP address of the request. It is used only to protect the site against abuse (spam, automated requests).

3. How we use the data

• to receive, confirm, verify payment for and process ticket orders and sponsor applications;
• to contact you about your order, participation and sponsorship;
• to send information and news about the Forum, where you have consented;
• to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

4. Legal basis

Your data is processed on the basis of the consent you give in the form, as well as for performing your order and meeting legal requirements. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with team members involved in organizing the Forum and with technical partners that provide website, server, email and payment services (for example hosting and cloud providers, and the Payriff payment system). It may be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law.

6. Retention

Data is kept until the purpose of collection is fulfilled and for as long as the law requires, and is then deleted or anonymized.

7. Cookies and third-party services

The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores only technical choices in the browser session, such as dismissing the announcement bar. The page may load third-party services: fonts (Google Fonts), maps (Google Maps) and video (YouTube). These services may receive technical data from your browser (such as your IP address) under their own privacy policies.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, ask for its correction, deletion or restriction of processing, withdraw your consent, and contact us in writing. To do so, email office@retailnetworks.az.

9. Security

To protect data we use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and limited permissions. As no internet transmission is completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The site is not intended for persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The new version is published on this page and takes effect from the date shown above.
